RAISE Training’s WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment provides a practical snapshot of your current skills across learning, reading, writing, numeracy, behaviour and computer literacy.

The assessment uses a range of questions and workplace-based scenarios to help identify your existing strengths and areas where additional support may be beneficial.

WeLLNess can be used as part of the enrolment and suitability process for RAISE Training courses, or as a standalone assessment for individuals who would like a better understanding of their current foundation skills.

Following completion, you will receive a WeLLNess LLN Snapshot showing your assessed performance across each area.

Complete the assessment online at your own pace – usually in around 25–30 minutes.

What is the purpose of this course?

The WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment is designed to provide a practical snapshot of your current foundation and workplace skills and help identify any areas where additional support may be beneficial.

The assessment considers six areas:

• Learning – understanding and applying information, following processes, solving problems and adapting to different tasks.
• Reading – understanding and interpreting written information, including instructions, signs, workplace documents and other texts.
• Writing – using written language, vocabulary, grammar and appropriate written communication.
• Numeracy – working with numbers and mathematical information, including calculations, time, measurements, data and graphs.
• Behaviour – responding to workplace and driving-related situations, including decision-making, safety awareness and risk management.
• Computer Literacy – completing common digital tasks and using basic computer functions, digital communication and file management.

Your results can help RAISE Training consider your current skills and identify whether learning support or reasonable adjustment may be appropriate during your training.

What does the Skills Assessment cost?

The cost of the standalone WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment is $50 AUD.

Payment by credit or debit card is required when registering online. Once registration is completed, you will be able to access and complete the assessment online.

Important: If you have been directed to complete WeLLNess as part of your enrolment with RAISE Training, please use the assessment link provided to you rather than purchasing the assessment separately.

Who is this course for?

The WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment is suitable for people who need or would like an indication of their current foundation and workplace skills.

It may be suitable for people who:

• are enrolling in training with RAISE Training and need to complete a foundation skills assessment;
• would like an indication of their current language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills;
• are preparing to undertake vocational or workplace training; or
• would like to identify areas where additional learning support may be beneficial.

No previous qualification is required to complete the assessment.

Do you need a licence?

No. There are no licensing requirements to complete the WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment.

How long does the WeLLNess Assessment take?

Most participants complete the WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment in approximately 25–30 minutes.

The time required may vary depending on your individual pace. You should allow enough time to complete the assessment without interruption and carefully consider each question.

The assessment must be completed by you and all questions should be answered honestly. This helps ensure your results provide a useful indication of your current skills and allows RAISE Training to identify any assistance or reasonable adjustment that may be relevant to your training.

What will you receive after completing the WeLLNess Assessment?

Following completion of the WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment, you will receive a WeLLNess Certificate of Assessment – LLN Snapshot showing your assessed performance across:

• Learning
• Reading
• Writing
• Numeracy
• Behaviour
• Computer Literacy

Your results provide a snapshot of your current skills based on the evidence available at the time of assessment. They can help identify your existing strengths and any areas where additional support or reasonable adjustment may be beneficial.

The results should be considered alongside broader language, literacy and numeracy indicators. Oral communication is not assessed or reported as part of the WeLLNess snapshot.

The WeLLNess Online Skills Assessment does not result in a nationally recognised qualification or Statement of Attainment.
