About Us

RAISE Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 91655) providing quality training courses relating to the transport industry

We are accredited by the NSW Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), WorkCover and Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

We specialise in providing quality training courses relating to the transport, handling and storage of dangerous goods and work collaboratively with driving schools and independant driving instructors throughout NSW in the delivery of heavy vehicle licensing courses.

Dangerous Goods Training

We are accredited with the NSW Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) for all aspects of dangerous goods road transport and storage training requirements and can customise training programs to your specific needs and quality systems.

All our participants receive comprehensive materials and training sessions that combine excellent teaching practice and current industry knowledge.

Dangerous Goods Licensing

This course is for persons who wish to or are required by law to obtain a dangerous goods driver licence. A dangerous goods driver licence is required for the transport of dangerous goods in the following cases:
  • in a receptacle with a capacity of more than 500L
  • if there is more than 500kg in a single receptacle
  • in the case of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), where the total capacity of all IBCs is more than 3000L or where any IBC is filled or emptied while on the vehicle.

Dangerous Goods Awareness

This course is designed to meet workplace training obligations relating to Division 3, Clause 22 of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (Seventh Edition).

Heavy Vehicle Licensing

RAISE Training holds an accreditation agreement with the NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) for the delivery of Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA).

The HVCBA system applies to all heavy vehicle licence classes from Light Rigid (LR) to Multi-Combination (MC).

We recommend that you discuss your licensing requirements with your nominated Driving Instructor.
