Course Requirements
To participate in this course, you must have:
- A device with a webcam, microphone, and reliable internet access.
- The ability to complete one of the core assessment activities using the required technology.
Identity Verification
To ensure course integrity, you must complete the Video Identity Verification Assignment by uploading a video as instructed in the activity. Alternatively, for identified courses, you can participate in a Zoom Meeting with your instructor, where you will receive personalised support, real-time answers to questions, and immediate feedback on your progress.
Instructions for Your Video Submission:
- Hold your driver’s licence up to the camera so that both your face and the licence are clearly visible.
- The licence details must be easy to read, and your face should be recognisable alongside the licence.
- In the video, state the following details:
- Your full name.
- The current date.
- The course you are enrolled in.
Note: You can progress through the course without completing either the Zoom Meeting or Video Identity Verification Assignment, but your identity must be verified before course completion.

Course Overview
When you first access the course, you will see a Course Overview section. This section presents all course activities in a single timeline, guiding you from start to finish. If you leave the course and return later, a reminder bar will indicate where to continue.
Activity Flow
- Each activity starts with an overview of its content.
- Mandatory Activities: Assignments and assessments.
- Optional Activities: Learning content and lessons (you can skip to an assessment but may miss valuable insights).
- Upon completing an activity, you will see your Progress Overview.

MemoTrainer is a learning tool designed to improve memory retention through adaptive repetition, based on the Ebbinghaus theory of memory retention. It:
- Personalises repetition schedules, focusing on weaker areas.
- Increases the frequency of questions answered incorrectly.
- Helps learners retain information longer and prepare effectively for assessments.
You can customise your MemoTrainer settings by adjusting the frequency of repetitions, setting specific goals, and tracking progress through performance analytics. This tool is available on desktop and mobile, allowing flexible learning anytime, anywhere.
Message Centre
The Message Centre (also called the Communication Centre) enhances communication between learners and instructors. Features include:
- Centralised messages, announcements, and notifications.
- The ability to send messages, reply to queries, and ask course-related questions.
- Push notifications for new messages or announcements.
- Access via desktop and the aNewSpring mobile app, ensuring seamless communication.
