What is the purpose of this course?
This online forklift license training is designed to help students get ready for the National Assessment Instrument (NAI) for a HRW Forklift Licence Class. Once you complete this online course, you will be able to enrol directly with one of our Training Partners to complete the practical face-to-face training for the operation of a forklift truck and then sit your HRW licence assessment.

The content of the course is self-paced and adaptive to the learner. Daily exercises are generated for each individual learner through MemoTrainer™. The same question will be asked on different days, but questions that a learner answers incorrectly return sooner than questions the learner answered correctly.
Regardless of your background or experience level, this course provides a structured and engaging online learning environment to help you achieve your goals and excel in the field of forklift operation.
Do you need a licence?
To safely and legally operate a forklift in a NSW workplace you must:
– be licensed and competent to operate
– follow safe operating procedures including following the traffic management rules at your workplace.
This course will meet the the required knowledge obligations towards a full Forklift Licensing course only.
Duration
Once you have access to the online learning platform, you will have up to 30 days to complete the course.
When logged in, Students a first presented with the Course Overview via the Main Course Tab with a summary of their progress, including Activities, and Retention bars.
The course is broken up into the following Activities, followed by a Final Assessment. Each Activity consists of a separate Training Module. Which needs to be completed. At the end of each module is a set of Activity Questions that relate directly to the content of the Training Module.
Each Training Module has the same overlay structure including access back to the Course Overview, a shortcut to Asking the Instructor a Question, and the ability to Take Notes.
The entire course is crafted with dynamic elements, featuring clickable or animated graphics, texts, images, and diagrams to ensure a highly interactive learning experience, resulting in heightened engagement levels and a deeper grasp of the subject matter.

Learning Outcomes
This course will meet the the required knowledge obligations towards a full Forklift Licensing course. It will not lead to the issue a a Statement of Attainment due to your practical skills of operating a forklift truck needing to be assessed seperately and in person. However, once a suitable practical assessment has taken place with one of our Training Partners, you will be able to undergo the National HRW LF Licence Assessment.
Each Training Module has the same overlay structure including access back to the Course Overview, a shortcut to Asking the Instructor a Question, and the ability to Take Notes.
