This course is built for truck drivers, bus drivers, and anyone on the frontline of transport who needs to stay sharp and compliant. It’s ideal for anyone driving a heavy vehicle over 12 tonnes GVM or a bus with more than 12 seats, plus schedulers, loaders, supervisors, and others who influence a driver’s hours or workload.
The course is 100% online, self-paced, and mobile-friendly. You can knock it over in a few sittings or chip away at it over a couple of weeks – whatever fits your schedule. The content is clear, straight to the point, and backed with real-world examples to help it stick.

You don’t need a special licence to do this course. But since 1 July 2018, NHVR requires anyone working under fatigue management systems to complete specific training.
This course meets the current NHVR requirement for the driver-specific unit:
TLIF0005 – Apply a Fatigue Risk Management System
(Formerly TLIF2010 – Work Safely with Heavy Vehicle Fatigue)
This is the required unit for drivers operating under BFM. If you're in a scheduling or supervisory role, you may also need:
TLIF0080 Implement and monitor the safety duties of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility)
(Formerly TLIF0006 – Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System)

The refresher course typically takes around 2-4 hours to complete, depending on your experience and familiarity with fatigue management requirements.

Once you’re in, you’ve got 30 days to complete it. Most people knock it over in a few sittings.
