Home Working At Heights
This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to conduct a risk assessment of the working environment and will ensure that you have the practical experience and knowledge required to safely conduct work-related activities from heights with a focus on fall prevention rather than fall arrest.
Working at a height is a high-risk activity. Training, planning and fall prevention strategies are the best way to minimise the risk. Learn to assess the requirements of the task from the ground and to plan the safest method of access. Determine fall hazards, implement control measures and inspect, fit and use harnesses and other protective equipment.
This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries.
It applies to those working in operational roles. They generally work under supervision to undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.
Completing this course meets the national requirements for the accredited Unit of Competency (RIIWHS204E).

This training program is approximately 6 – 8 hours depending on an individual?s prior knowledge of the industry and learning needs.
