Jason brings over 20 years of frontline experience in the heavy vehicle transport sector, backed by senior operational roles and hands-on training experience.
He holds an Open Multi Combination licence and has driven interstate freight across Australia, operating under live scheduling conditions, fatigue-regulated routes, and high-risk logistics environments. Beyond the wheel, Jason worked as a senior fleet controller before moving into a fleet manager role. These roles placed him in direct oversight of vehicle allocation, compliance monitoring, and driver performance standards.
In Victoria, he held the position of lead MC trainer and assessor, as well as depot 2IC at a licensed RTO, delivering 3–5 day licence programs in collaboration with the Victorian Transport Association and employer-aligned upskilling schemes. He was regularly engaged to carry out on-site driver evaluations, low risk driving programs, and pre-employment assessments.
After relocating to Rockhampton, Jason continued as a heavy vehicle driver trainer before founding NWHVT as a focused, independent provider. His training is structured, technical, and built to develop real drivers, not test-day survivors. It prioritises real-world readiness, mechanical precision, and progressive skill development—starting with vehicle control and shifting logic, then building into spatial awareness, gear recovery, and timing under pressure.
He builds drivers who can operate with confidence in any condition, not just pass a test.
