Home Confined Spaces
Confined space training is required where an individual is required to enter and work in a confined space as defined in the Work Health and Safety Legislation.
This course is designed for students who are required to be re-assessed in entering a confined space, for maintenance purposes, for cleaning, inspection or other reasons. It is required by all students who are required to enter a confined space, as defined by the standard AS2865 requires reassessment ‘at appropriate intervals’. The industry regards reassessment on a two to three year cycle as good practice.
This training course is designed for people who work in or around confined spaces. Participants will learn to complete hazard identifications, risk assessments and work permits for confined space operations and how to operate various confined space safety equipment.
Licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories, and Industry sectors. Relevant information must be sourced prior to application of the course.
This training program is approximately 6 – 8 hours depending on an individual?s prior knowledge of the industry and learning needs.
