Home Skid Steer Loader
This course provides you with the knowledge, theory and practical ability to operate an skid steer (bob cat) including pre-op checks, various operating techniques, relocating the machine, maintenance and clean-up. This course can be personalised for all skill levels.
This course is nationally recognized giving you the skills to operate a skid steer loader in the civil construction industry. This machine is commonly referred to as a bobcat.
The training will also qualify you for earth moving jobs in the mining, construction and agriculture industries.
Load shifting (other than Forklift) equipment are no longer required to have a licence. However an operator must still be deemed competent. Statement of Attainment received from completing this course is suitable.
There is no licence associated with this course.
In order to participate in this course, participants are required to:
– have basic english reading and writing skills to pass the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment (LLN)
– be agt least 16 years of age
– provide two (2) forms of ID (identification)
– wear steel capped or safety boots and appropriate clothing, hat and sunscreen
This training program is approximately 1 – 2 days depending on an individual?s prior knowledge of the industry and learning needs.
On successful completion of this program, participants will receive the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:
