This course is suitable for warehouse workers, logistics personnel, manufacturing employees, and anyone involved in material handling tasks within industrial settings. If you’re seeking to advance within your current role, this course provides the essential training needed to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. With a focus on industry standards and safety protocols, participants will emerge from the course equipped with the competencies required to contribute effectively to their workplace’s operations while prioritising safety and productivity.
Do you need a licence?
This is NOT a licensing course.
To safely and legally operate a forklift in a NSW workplace you must:
– be licensed and competent to operate
– follow safe operating procedures including following the traffic management rules at your workplace.
DurationThe total duration for this course is 16 hours (2 days) as follows for both skilled and non-skilled operators.
The course duration is 22 hours (including 16 hours of training):
– 10 hours of supervised theory instruction
– 6 hours of supervised practical instruction (simulated workplace)
This course is now able to be connected to our online Forklift Licensing Theory course which can reduce the amount of face to face training required.
Learning OutcomesOn successful completion of this program, participants will receive the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:
